About Me:
Hi, I’m Laura, and I’ve devoted over 10 years to health and social care, bringing a warm, caring approach to supporting children and young people with learning disabilities. I’ve been with the Supporting Hands family for four years now, and every day, I feel blessed to make a difference in the lives of those I care for.
I believe everyone deserves to feel valued, safe, and truly cared for. My goal is to offer kindness, understanding, and encouragement, so each person feels seen and appreciated. Together, we create a nurturing environment where joy and comfort come first.
My Qualifications
To provide the best care possible, I’ve gained extensive training and qualifications, including:
- Level 5 Leadership and Management in Adult Care (Ongoing)
- Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker – Distinction
- Level 3 in Children and Young People
- Level 3 in Mental Health Awareness
- Level 2 Autism Award
- CPI, Medication, Moving & Handling, and First Aid Training
These skills allow me to provide person-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs and dreams.

My Availability
I am available to support you Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. If your family would like to visit or have any questions, I’m always happy to meet them and keep everyone connected and informed. Your well-being is my priority.
